NEW – Sector Trade Analysis

  • April 3, 2010 10:59 am

I am working on a new trading system, with a lot of help from a couple of experts from the Circle Community Lounge (AC and Russ mainly).  Initial analysis is interesting.

I have created an indicator at the bottom of each chart that tells you when to have a long bias (Green) or short Bias (Red).  Please don’t trade on this as it is still in the early stages and I don’t want anyone to lose any money on my behalf, however here is the breakdown by Sector.  Just click on the thumbnail to see a full size chart:

The latest signals, by sector, were:

XLB – Mar 31 – Go Long

XLE – Mar 30 – Go Long

XLF – Mar 5 – Stay Long [From Long call on Feb 16]

XLI – Feb 26 – Go Long

XLK – Mar 26 – Go Short

XLP – Feb 23 – Go Long

XLV – Mar 24 – Go Short

XLY – Mar 8 Go Short

USO update – attempt 1

  • January 28, 2010 12:23 pm

As you can see, from the chart below,  USO (see previous posts) tried to reenter its bear channel, and failed.  I think we will see a few more attempts and one will succeed:

60 Min Chart

USO 60 day

USO 60 day

and the 2 yr

USO 2 year

USO 2 year
