Making money in the stock market is easy. Just Buy the SPY on Friday Night and then sell it on Monday night. Works every week – brilliant…..Until it doesn’t!! This week it continued to work.
Just look at this chart from early November. Gap Up, Gap Down,Gap Up, Gap Down,Gap Up, Gap Down,Gap Up, Gap Down, Rinse, Repeat. Last week we broke the pattern and today was an attempt to return to stupidity. Lets see how the week progresses. Until then it may be time to go to the sidelines.
